The short version: if you send a request, your details go to us and then to one independent well contractor serving your area. We store requests in Cloudflare KV storage for up to 24 months. We do not sell your details, and we do not share them with anyone else except the service providers that host the site. This website sets no advertising cookies and runs no analytics scripts.
Who we are
Blue Ridge Well Pump is a referral service that connects homeowners with independent well contractors. We do not perform well work. Blue Ridge Well Pump is a referral service. What we collect
When you use the request form, we collect:
- Your name and phone number.
- Your email address, if you choose to give one.
- Your ZIP code and town.
- The type of problem you select and any details you type in the message box.
- A record that you ticked the consent box, the exact consent wording shown to you, and the time you sent the form.
- The page you used to submit the form.
- The country your request came from, as reported by our hosting provider, which we use to flag requests from outside the United States.
We do not ask for payment details, Social Security numbers, or financial account numbers. Please do not put them in the message box.
How we use your details
We use your details to match your request to an independent well contractor serving your area, to pass the request to that contractor, to respond to questions or complaints about the request, and to keep the service working and secure.
Who receives your details
- One independent well contractor serving your area. Our consent checkbox says: "I agree to be contacted about my request and for my details to be shared with one independent well contractor serving my area." We share your details with only one contractor for each request. After that, the contractor is responsible for how it handles your details and may contact you by phone or email about your request. The contractor is not part of Blue Ridge Well Pump.
- Our hosting and storage provider. The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, and requests are stored in Cloudflare KV storage. Cloudflare processes web traffic and stores data on our behalf, and its own privacy terms apply to that processing.
- Authorities. We may disclose information if the law requires it.
We do not sell your details and we do not share them with any other third parties. If we ever change this, we will update this policy first.
How long we keep it
Request records are set to expire automatically 24 months after you send them. We may delete them sooner on your request, as described below.
Cookies and analytics
This site does not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or analytics scripts. Our hosting provider may collect technical logs, such as IP addresses and request times, to deliver and protect the site. If we add analytics later, we will update this policy.
Your choices
You can ask us to tell you what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it by using the contact page. Please mark your message as a privacy request and include the phone number you used. Once a contractor has received your request, we cannot force the contractor to delete their copy, but we will pass your request on and ask them to honor it.
You are not required to use the form. You are free to contact well contractors directly.
Security
The form is sent over an encrypted connection and stored in a private storage namespace that is not served to the public. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee that your information will never be accessed without permission.
Children
This website is for homeowners and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
